BIOGRAPHY – RAVESLUT
Raveslut is a three-piece band from Regensburg, blending social criticism with rock, metal, and punk influences. Their music features dynamic riffs, tempo shifts, and plenty of energy. Lyrically, they explore personal experiences and social issues with a mix of aggressive humor and sharp commentary. Formed by Thomas (songwriter, lead singer, bassist), the band’s early songs include Circus of Horror, a metaphor for society’s chaos, Cocaine Banana, about a cocaine discovery in a German grocery store, and Raveslut, a self-portrait and a humorous jab at the rise of electronic music.
(2015- 2017)
In June 2015, Raveslut recorded their first EP in Posen, Poland, but it was never released due to quality issues. The band’s first live performance took place in December 2015 at Alten Mälzerei in Regensburg, followed by several small gigs through mid-2016. They recorded their debut album, Critical Error, in November 2016, which was released in January 2017. In the summer of 2017, Alex replaced Alan on drums. The band released their first music video for What the Fuck, What Is Up! in December 2017.
(2018- 2020)
In early 2018, Raveslut signed with Boersma Records, but due to ongoing issues, they formed their own label, CauseHammer Records. The band released their second video, Forbidden Bitch, in July 2019, alongside their second album No Escape, which dropped in October 2019. Shortly after the album release, Alex was dismissed from the band, and a replacement drummer played a few gigs before the pandemic led to cancellations in 2020.
(2020-2023)
During the Covid-19 pandemic, Markus (Kaiser) chose to step back from performing, focusing on behind-the-scenes work. Tobi took over guitar, and Sebastian joined as the new drummer. The band returned to the stage in February 2022, performing a series of last-minute gigs until September 2023. At the end of that year, Raveslut released their third album, Head to Head.
